   Throughout my journey along the Camino, this hostel was the only one that managed to take away my energy! The Camino make you feel so good, the only thing you don’t want is at the end of the day, something take this away from you. Since I arrived I have already had a totally unpleasant situation, which one of the owners had offered me 2 rooms options, when we arrived at the room, we thought it would be better the other one, that we did not choose at first and I just went to ASK IF IT WAS POSSIBLE to change, because if it was not, there would be no problem and the man, simply left me completely embarrassed with his way of reacting, making it clear that he does not like it (I don’t know why after all, we were paying and I asked very politely if it was possible, I did not require anything) He simply stared at me all the time, repeating “but I offered you before, I offered you before” totally unnecessary, if he does not want to work, he could simply say that it was not possible anymore, better than being unprofessional and make others uncomfortable. After this he gave me the other bed. I felt As if I was there for free and he was doing me a favor by letting me sleep in his “house” we paid 30€ for both. The most higher price of albergues and the customer service is worse than the most cheapest ones that you find around 6,7, 8€ in some albergues, the rules of the albergues is until be 22h you must be inside of the albergues, but you don’t have to go to your bed and sleep. Because the entrance doors close for the workers sleep. This one and just one more, was like this, they close all lights and you have to go to sleep in that time, doesn’t matter if you are sleepy or not, even if there is living rooms and you would not disturb anyone! The only other one was like this we super understood, it was a donation albergue, you don’t pay anything but when you pay the highest price in albergue for peregrinos, and it was not informed before, make any sense! They didn’t inform us about that, the kitchen closes 22h and there was any warning about in anywhere wrote about “KITCHEN” we were eating dinner this time and the owner came completely unnecessary, saying the kitchen is closed and leave, came back in few minutes saying we had only 5 minutes to finish and leave the kitchen and he would turn off the lights. This time I was already In My limit with the way they talk.. I told “nobody told us about that, because if we knew about we could to eat early” and he started discussing with me saying all albergues is the same. He has no idea for sure about the amazing albergues for peregrinos that there are along camiño de Santiago. Showed me a paper in the kitchen was only saying about the albergue closes 22h, yes like all, but not specifically the kitchen and lights, like there is warning specifying exactly the time of the KITCHEN in the others. Only his albergue is like this! All the time we felt like we were for free in his house, receiving his charity! we have never had any problem before, I liked a lot all but this one bad experience, we wanted only the next day and leave this heavy place. They do not provide disposable bed linen, soap holder empty all the time, for the price it really doesn’t pay off! I wish you peregrino, find other really good and pleasant options in Belorado!
